WELCOME TO THE POLYGON!!

Hello to you! You are now our new Year 7 class! 

We are looking forward to an exciting term with lots of exciting activities and new experiences. This academic year you will get the opportunity to experience Forest School, Swimming lessons, Gallery trips as well as cinema visits during National Film Week. Your tutor base is the Art room where there will be lots of chances to be creative and have fun, as well as the new routines to learn at your new school.

We have lots of interesting learning planned and will be celebrating many different faiths and cultures. There will be some exciting trips planned for next year. Some of you may have the opportunity to be considered for school trips including residential trips. There will be a week of extra activities planned for next summer and we always have a fun filled sports day in the last half term, with staff joining in. The highlight of sports day is the legendary staff versus pupils Tug Of War!

I hope you take every opportunity available to you, you can learn lots, have great fun, and it will help you settle in as part of the Polygon school community.

Our class assistants are Mrs Proctor and Miss Longhurst who are very much looking forward to meeting you and working with our new class group!
