Character Education

Character Education

 

Character Education lessons are offered to all pupils in KS4. These lessons are used to enhance the "character" of our learners and aid in preparation in life after school. 

 

The curriculum is blended with elements from Works skills such as looking at Workplace Relationships.

 

Our focus is on educating our pupils on the importance of Equality and Diversity. As such our learners are working towards the NCFE Level 2 Award in Equality and Diversity. This is hosted via PiXL Build Up and iAchieve online learning platforms.

 

The outcomes are intended to educate about the Protected Characteristics, Diversity, Equality, Discrimination, Rights, and Responsibilities, Diversity in the Community, Equality in the Workplace, Labeling, and Stereotyping.
