Polygon Patch

We are proud of our allotment which has been recently redeveloped by our engagement pathways team. Our students and staff can use the space for a variety of learning opportunities and activities. We have incorporated a wildflower bed and brilliant pumpkin patch. In addition, tomatoes, aubergines and a variety of vegetables flourish in the poly tunnel. It is a great place to deliver cross curricular activities and our students even contributed to building an outdoor classroom space.

The carrots that were grown and harvested by pupils were given to the school cook who made delicious carrot cake for the whole school. The allotment also provides a calming environment for pupils who may need a peaceful time to reset and an excellent space to provide nurture.
