Dear Year 7,

Welcome to your first year at The Polygon School! We are really looking forward to meeting you all and being your class tutors. Our job is to help you settle in, support you, and make sure you are happy and ready to learn.

This year is going to be full of new experiences. As well as your lessons, we will have some amazing trips to look forward to – including Sprinkles, power boating, watersports, Moors Valley Country Park and more. These will be great chances to have fun, try something new, and enjoy time with your friends.

In every lesson you will have the chance to earn points through our reward system. The more points you collect, the more they can be turned into money that you can spend – so it really pays to do your best! Good attendance is also very important. Coming to school every day helps you learn and grow, and it is also something we celebrate and reward.

We are very excited to be your tutors and to share this new adventure with you. Year 7 is the start of an exciting journey, and we can’t wait to see all the brilliant things you will achieve.
