Getting Prepared

Being prepared for the school helps build a routine and ensures a settled start to your childs’ day. You can help by ensuring your child:

  • Has all the right uniform
  • Knows what time the school day starts and ends
  • Knows whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch
  • Has the medication required during the school day and is brought in before starting at The Polygon and is in the box it was prescribed in

In the first few weeks, your child might be tired and irritable as they learn to cope with the changes. Be patient, they probably just need time to adjust to secondary school.
