Understanding and respecting the law is essential and reinforced on a daily basis at The Polygon School. We work with outside organisations to provide our boys with the best possible support and counselling in learning to uphold the law. Pupils are taught about respecting the law in all aspects of school life from breakfast clubs to conversations on the football pitch! This value is also incorporated into our comprehensive SMSC curriculum (Please see SMSC page for more information). Our pupils are taught about the value and reasons behind laws, as well as the consequences of breaking the law. This is explicitly taught in key stage 4 through our RE curriculum. We have good relationships with our local community support officers who are invited into the school to reinforce these messages to individuals and whole school groups through assemblies.
