WELCOME TO THE POLYGON!!

Hello to the new Year 7 class that will be 3AW. 

We are looking forward to an exciting term with lots of exciting activities and new experiences. Usually, there is a power boating trip and a visit to Southampton Boat Show as well as cinema visits during National Film Week. As we are based in the art room, there will lots of chances to be creative and have fun, as well as the new routines to learn at your new school.

We have lots of interesting learning planned and then we have a week packed with Christmas activities.  There will be some exciting trips planned for next year. Some of you may have the opportunity to go to Iceland, or on a skiing trip, or to a local residential trip. We have a week of extra activities planned for next summer and we always have a fun filled sports day in the last half term, with staff joining in. The highlight of sports day is the legendary staff versus pupils Tug Of War!

I hope you take every opportunity available to you, you can learn lots, have great fun, and it will help you settle in as part of the Polygon school community.

Our class assistant Mrs. Thomas and I are very much looking forward to meeting you all properly and working with our new class group.
