Each year you and relevant professionals will be invited to attend an annual review of your child’s Education, Health and Care Plan. This pupil-centred process will allow you and your son to share how the previous year has gone, discussing all aspects of school life both the good and bad.  It will also give you both a chance to discuss the future to ensure that any plans made are focussed on improving your son’s outcomes.

 

The SENCO and your son’s tutor will share the progress that has been made and how the school will make provisions for ensuring that your son is best placed to meet his potential. A representative from the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities 0-25 Service may attend the meeting to offer you support and advice. After the meeting a written annual review report will be compiled by the school and copies will be sent to the local authority Special Educational Needs and Disabilities 0-25 Service and to parents or carers.
