The Polygon School Privacy Notice For Parents/Carers

 

Organisations, including schools, are required to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  The school holds and shares data about pupils and parents/carers as appropriate in order to meet legal requirements and legitimate interests as set out in Data Protection Legislation, namely:

  • the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679);
  • the Law Enforcement Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/680):
  • the Data Protection Act 2018 (subject to Royal Assent) to the extent that it relates to the processing of personal data and privacy

 

The Polygon School has updated its Privacy Notice to reflect the new standards.  This notice gives details of all the data we hold on pupils attending the school, and your rights with regard to that data, so please read it carefully.
