Welcome to 4NA-we are here to prepare the boys for their start into Key Stage 4 and preparing to think about and plan for when they leave in Year 11.
We will be preparing for both the start of their exam courses across their subjects, whilst at the same time looking to increase their independence as young men. Building on the hard work lower in the school, we will still work as polite and courteous members of the school but with more focus and emphasis on stepping up and being more responsible for their own actions and learning.
Through their Work Skills lessons, they will start preparing for a Work Experience placement for February 2024 with all of the skills needed to prepare for this and across all of their lessons, they will start to complete work that will go towards their final grades and final exams.
As the second oldest year group in the school, we want to be able to rely more and more for the boys to show off the best versions of themselves and think about steps they might take beyond Year 11 when they leave.
