Polygon pupils are actively encouraged to make thoughtful, considered choices in a safe and supportive environment. This is taught through curriculum lessons, Lynx group intervention, Talking Spaces, assemblies, careers guidance, work skills, real life interview experience, E safety lessons, Breakfast clubs, and SMSC. We have recently had guest speakers from the Red Cross in to speak to pupils on the issues of individual liberty, respect, and freedom. This value has also been reinforced through the hard-hitting Applied Theatre Production ‘Chelsea’s Choice’. This has proven highly successful in raising awareness of the issues surrounding Child Sexual Exploitation and online safety.
