Our Religious Education programme following the ‘Living Difference’ Curriculum is taught with rigor throughout both key stage 3 and 4 and our SMSC provision through PSHE, SEAL and Breakfast clubs also teaches pupils respect, tolerance and understanding of those with different faiths and beliefs. A recent survey conveys our pupils enjoy and feel safe in school. Our online bullying report form is acted upon instantly by SLT and pupils feel safe and confident in using this approach. The Polygon School works hard to actively challenge pupils, staff, or parents who express opinions contrary to fundamental British values, including “extremist” views.
