Letter from Anne Hendon-John regarding school reopening.

Monday 22nd February 2021.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you for your patience and willingness to support the school during the pandemic.

The school re-opens at 09.00 this morning to some children. Over the next few weeks, we anticipate a slow return to school for most children.

We all need to recover from the experience of lockdowns, national restrictions and for some the grief of losing a family member or friend. There will be much to talk about, things to do, and school routines to re-establish.

We are grateful to City Catering for the offer of “Cooking at Home” boxes, and for the support some families have been able to access through the “Winter Fund” held by Scratch.

Many of the school staff have now received their first dose of the vaccination. We are anticipating that the summer term will allow the school to adjust, and rebuild.

Thank you for being there to support your child, and for the support you have given the school in keeping everyone safe.

I look forward to welcoming everyone back to school soon.

Anne Hendon-John.
