In February 2023 the Year 10 pupils participated in our annual Work Experience. Nine pupils went off site to a variety of placements across Southampton and the surrounding area. Have you ever thought you wanted to know more about your sons school and education, well now we have an opportunity for you to do so. We are seeking two Parent Governors to join our team of School Governors.
To be a parent governor you should have:
No special qualifications are needed and the most important thing is to have a keen interest in the school and be prepared to play an active part in the governing body’s work.
Governors play a vital role in running the school. It is a great opportunity to get more involved in the school community, to see how the school works from the inside, and to build a stronger understanding of your child’s educational experience. Volunteering for public service as a governor can help with developing skills in teamwork, listening and questioning, which are attractive to employers and boost a CV.
